Semiha Akinci - Concepts and Related Matters

I will examine all of the following items and their sub-items. 1. Concepts are i) meanings of synonymous descriptional expressions, ii) topics of comprehension; 2. There are two major sorts of entities ontologically: i) concepts, which apply to different things, ii) objects, self-contained things; 3. Some intransient things are concepts, they are manifested in objects through their guises; 4. Notrents are those objects which are exhaustively describable so that their nature is completely effable, capable of description by linguistic expressions of arbitrary complexity. 5. Fictive objects are like intransient objects in displaying only finitely many pertinent concepts; 6. Trend individuals come in natural kinds: extensions of certain conjuctive lattices of predicates.
