The Students' Conference on Linguistics, which is also the Conference of the German Student Councils of Linguistics, is a meeting organised by students for students. Coming from all linguistic disciplines, students from the German-speaking area and neighbouring countries gather to give lectures on linguistics and discuss a wide variety of topics.
Ever since the first conference in 1987, a different student council played host to it each semester so that the Students' Conference on Linguistics took place in various cities in Germany, Austria and Swiss. Duesseldorf hosted the IV., XI., and XXXIV. StuTS.
The Duesseldorf conference management team is happy to host the Students' Conference on Linguistics (starting on May 20th and ending on May 24th) once again. Further information on the conference will be added to this website shortly. If you don't want to check for yourself , please register to our newsletter, you will then be notified about all important updates.
You can't find the way to our reception? You missed your train and won't make it on time? Don't worry, we arranged an emergency phone for you. Dial +49 157 825 875 74 and we'll be glad to help you out.
We're looking forward to see you on Wednesday!

To celebrate the 45th StuTS, the Fachschaft Linguistik is having a party in the SP-Saal on the 23rd of May 2009. But fear not, this won't be StuTS-participants-only - it's open for everyone to join :-)
Doors will be open at 9pm. To get to the SP-Saal, just pass by the main library (ULB) on the left and go downstairs. As you've probably expected, drinks will be pretty cheap: beer & soft drinks 1€, long drings 3€. If the weather is nice we're also going to have a barbecue outside - thanks a lot to the physicians for that!
Let's rock'n'roll.
