Düsseldorf Center for Logic and Philosophy of Science (DCLPS)
The DCLPS is located at the Chair of Theoretical Philosophy of the University of Duesseldorf. It cooperates and is in lively exchange with the Department of Philosophy of the University of Duesseldorf, with the Duesseldorf Collaborative Research Centre SFB 991, and with related research centers throughout the world.
The DCLPS supports investigations in logic and philosophy of science in all their dimensions. Thereby its focus lies on the application of formal methods to philosophy of science, epistemology, and cognitive science. More recently we also apply computer simulations or empirical experiments. Each year the DCLPS organizes a multitude of activites and events including

- a regular research colloquium (this term's program)
- video-taped lectures by experts in the field (list of video-taped lectures)
- workshops and conferences (list of conferences)
- a visiting fellow program which allows visitors to reside in Duesseldorf for several months (application)
