Description

The table is organized in columns as follows.

  • phenomenon: The phenomenon that causes the discontinuity (see paper).
  • s: The TIGER sentence ID
  • yield: The yield of the discontinuous constituency node, and the yield of the corresponding non-projective dependency substructure. The punctuation indices have been discarded before determining the yield.
  • cat: The category of the discontinuous constituency node.
  • other cat: The category of the "moved" constituent(s) (if applicable).
  • additional: Other instances of discontinuity in the sentence.
