Comparative Studies - English Linguistics: Overview

The following tables show the modular structure of the masters program and provide information on the classes offered in the coming terms. In addition to the classes in the Department of English Language and Linguistics, students need to complete the Grundlagenmodul (Basics), Sprachpraxismodul (Language Practice) and Projektmodul (Project module). The final module, the Abschlussmodul, culminates in the writing of the Masters Thesis.

Table 1 contains the titel of the individual modules of the masters program. You can find information about the purpose of each module on the "Module" page or here. For an overview of the classes offered in each module in the coming years, please consult Table 2. Table 3 contains examples of possible schedules that you can use to structure your own schedule. Please note that the order in which the classes and modules can be taken is not predetermined and can vary in your studies.
