The newly accredited Master program
COMPARATIVE STUDIES IN ENGLISH AND AMERICAN LANGUAGE, LITERATURE, AND CULTURE
approaches the field of English and American Studies by providing major expertise from the English Departments at our Heinrich Heine University which are
- Medieval English Studies (Anglistik I)
- American Studies (Anglistik II)
- Linguistics (Anglistik III)
- Modern English Literature (Anglistik IV)
- Anglophone Literatures (Anglistik V)

The master program starts solely in the winter terms (October) and comprises of four semesters.

The master program is customized to ensure the furthering of English skills of young researchers by providing a first-rate qualification in an international context, in- and outside of academia.
